THE SOLAR SYSTEM

You will use your paint and draw tools in this activity! You will draw an illustration of the planets. Not only will you draw the planets, you will also draw their order from the sun. Here's a picture to help you.


1. Open the Paint program on your computer.

2. Use the Brush tool to draw the sun on the left side of your canvas.

3. Now use the Ellipse tool to draw circles for each planet. You will have to use the brush tool for Saturn's rings.

4. Use the Fill with Color tool and the color box to color each planet.

5. When you are finished drawing, use the Text tool to create a box under each planet, then use the keyboard to type the name of each planet in the box. (Remember INVISIBLE background)

6. Now select the box with the word "Sun" and click Image on the menu bar. Click Flip/Rotate and then click the Rotate by angle option button. Click 270 then click OK.

7. Rotate each Planet name just the same way.

8. Save your drawing as: YOURNAME SOLAR (MY DOCUMENTS / FOLDER WITH YOUR NAME)
